Our Studio:
The Music Studios of Jan Erickson have been offering quality music instruction continuously since 1989. A wide range of professionals work with each student to achieve his or her individual musical goals. A fully staffed studio often allows family members and/or friends to schedule lessons at the same time. Our professional setting encourages camaraderie and positive attitudes of both the student and faculty, as they grow in music. At the Eden Prairie facility, 21 studios and 11 quality pianos (5 grand pianos) are available for your instruction. We also offer gift certificates, lesson packages for beginners and family discounts. Payment of tuition ensures a regular, scheduled time from a qualified, valued instructor. You may start any time during the session at the single lesson rate and your time is then reserved for the following session. If an instructor must miss your scheduled lesson, the studio will try to arrange a for a substitute. If one is not available for your scheduled time and your instructor is unavailable for make-ups, we will issue a credit toward the next session's tuition. Because of our professional staff's personal time involved, student cancellations, regardless of the reason, will not be guaranteed a make-up.

Our Staff:
Our professional staff of instructors has shown commitment to individual development as well as to music through their advanced study. Currently there are 2 instructors with Ph.D.'s, 1 studying towards a doctorate. 13 have master's degrees with 2 others in progress on that degree. The others have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. All are committed to patiently impart their passions and techniques through teaching at our studios. Our office staff is available to help you with many and various scheduling and payment options. With the office dealing with non-music related questions and items. Our total delivery system then becomes focused, maximizing student/instructor time.
Our Programs:
Gift Certificates, lesson packages for beginners, family discounts, ability to schedule more than one lesson at a time at our studio, and musical environment of our studios have all been mentioned as positives for our method of music eduation. All of these components work together to give you the best possible experience and growth through your music lessons at our studios.

You may start in the middle of a session at the single lesson price, and then your time is secured for the following session. If an instructor must miss your scheduled lesson, every attempt will be made to find a substitue so regular lessons may be held. If one is not available for your scheduled time and your instructor is unavailable for make-ups, we will issue a credit toward the next session's tuition.
